Looking for a new clinic experience? Let’s talk!

Wanting physical therapy, but not able to make the time for a clinic visit? Perhaps mobile PT would be a good fit!

Interested in telehealth as part of your care? We offer that!

Wishing for more wellness and maintenance options? We can help!

Anchor PT offers a boutique experience with clinic-based, mobile options, and opportunities to utilize telehealth platforms for care. This agility allows the practice to adapt to your needs, and not the other way around. Isn’t it about time that healthcare thought about patient care this way?

Insurances

At the moment, Anchor Physical Therapy currently participates with the following health care insurance plans:

  • MVP
  • CDPHP
  • Medicare

NOTE: Anchor PT will be considered an in-network provider for Highmark and Excellus BCBS plans through JUNE 13, 2023. After this date, Anchor PT will be considered an out-of-network provider.

Anchor Physical Therapy is otherwise an out-of-network provider with all other insurance plans but care can still be administered on a cash-based basis (with the option to submit a superbill to your insurance plan for reimbursement).

Cash-based physical therapy may seem daunting, but viewed in context to healthcare costs as a whole can actually be more economical. Where some traditional settings may require 2-3 visits weekly at the cost of co-payment/co-insurance, cash-based options will often be for longer treatment times, less frequently, overall reducing the out-of-pocket cost for care. The flexibility with Anchor PT also means having a single practitioner you can directly touch base with, always be matched with for each visit, and can include customized home exercise programs for better individualized care. It also allows the practice to offer options for wellness packages, to help you maintain the progress you just worked so hard to gain.

For more information and pricing, please contact us. We will provide what’s called a “Good Faith Estimate” (see below) which can help determine your estimated total out-of-pocket costs as well as separately any opportunities for insurance reimbursement.

Payment Methods

Anchor PT accepts all major credit cards, cash, and check.

Credit card payments can be made at the time of service or via IvyPay.

Prescriptions

Per NYS law, you can directly access physical therapy without an MD referral. This is on a limited basis – for the first 10 visits or 30 days (whichever comes first). After this, your therapist will help you obtain a prescription if further care is needed.

If you already have a prescription from your physician, all the better! Please include this with your intake paperwork when you email Anchor PT.
